The witness and a companion were fishing from a boat near shore at sundown when a crashing noise drew their attention to the bank. A dark hair-covered human-shaped figure appeared at the water's edge, stared at them briefly, then turned and ran into the trees on two legs. The encounter lasted only seconds, with no vocalizations or odor noted.
