Man recounts stories told to him by clients in Oregon and Washington

The reporter said they have had no encounter themselves but often ask hunters about unusual things seen. They relayed an account from a bear hunter who was sitting in a tree stand around 4 AM reading by a small red light when a head passed by about 50 feet away near dawn. The hunter estimated the head was at least eight feet high because ground vegetation was over his own head.

The Database of Unexplained Encounters. Claims are recorded as claims: the Anomadex catalogues what people reported, where it was reported, and how sure I am that it was read correctly. It does not rule on what they saw.

A quick ask from the person behind the Anomadex: if you allow analytics, Google Analytics shows me which places, phenomena and searches you're most curious about. That tells me which regions and sources to add next and what to make easier to find. It never sees your name or anything you send me, and nothing is set unless you say yes. Privacy
