Couple bow hunting on Mt Emily initially mistake bigfoot for another hunter
While bow hunting with a companion on Mt. Emily in late August around 1981-1983, the witness drove to the summit and first mistook a figure by a tree for another hunter. As they drove past, the figure stood up, walked across the road to a hillside, paused to look at them, then disappeared over the hill. The witness inspected the spot and estimated the figure at about 8 feet tall by comparison to the tree, concluding it was not a hunter or bear.
Ape-like creature sighted near camp
A relative of the reporter claims that around 1985 while staying in a small camp in Acton, Maine, he heard a loud sound and looked outside. He saw a brownish creature standing upright like a human walk past the windows to the side of the camp while grunting and breathing heavily, with audible footsteps. He maintains the creature was ape-like and not a bear.
Witness describes multiple encounters in the Colorado wilderness
In summer 1974 the witness was hiking along a stream with his brothers while attached by a chain to a dog that pulled into dense brush. After pushing through the brush he saw a large hairy figure standing in the stream. He panicked, pulled the dog free, and he and his brothers climbed a tree to wait until they felt safe to come down.
