The witness was driving toward the state park in the morning when he noticed a large black figure crouched in a cut cornfield. The figure rose up slightly and turned its head as the witness watched from the road. The witness judged it was not a person or a bear because of its width, flat facial profile, and lack of prominent ears. He continued driving because of traffic behind him and the figure was gone when he returned to photograph it.
Camper has possible early evening sighting in Beaver Creek State Park
In June 2008 the witness was camping and stepped into the woods behind the campsite in the early evening. After hearing a loud crash, the witness saw a dark muscular human-like figure moving quickly through brush toward a ravine about 20-30 feet away. The two companions did not see the figure, and no tracks or other sign were found the next morning.
Possible daylight sighting on horse trail in Beaver Creek State Park
The witness was horseback riding on a pine-forest trail with her mother when her horse tensed and bolted. She turned and saw a tall, dark, upright figure behind a log that then ran toward a field. Both horses galloped uncontrolled back toward camp, leaving the riders shaken. She estimated the figure at 7-8 feet and said its proportions did not look human.

The witness was sitting inside a mobile home with an infant after dark when a dog began barking and would not leave its house. After turning out the lights and waiting, the witness saw a tall figure approach the trailer window breathing heavily and froze until it walked away. The next morning the witness found paths of flattened brush leading toward a creek bottom.
Memory told of a daylight sightling while walking down railroad tracks near East Liverpool
The witness and a companion were walking along railroad tracks beside the Ohio River in the evening when they heard brush being trampled on the hillside. They looked up and saw a very tall hair-covered figure about 25 yards away leaning out from behind a tree with an arm around the trunk. Both immediately ran back the way they had come.

The witness reports lying on a bed in a mobile home when an entity stood outside the back screen window for one to two minutes with loud cavernous breathing. A pet dog hid inside a dog box, growling and whining, and would not come out. The witness describes the moment as terrifying.
