Loud howling vocalizations heard by residents near Lake Alatoona

The witness and three relatives were outside saying goodbye after dinner when they heard a very long, loud howl. The sound lasted about five minutes and caused several dogs in the area to bark and howl in response. The group felt the tone and length ruled out a dog and later judged it an almost perfect match to howl recordings on a website.
