Resident sees two sets of large green eyes reflecting spotlight around 1am near Holt
Late at night the witness was outside with dogs and scanned with a spotlight toward a soybean field clearing about 300 feet away. The light revealed two sets of reflective eyes estimated to be about seven feet high that moved behind a bush and repeatedly peeked out. After watching them disappear and reappear, the witness went inside for about twenty minutes and returned to find the area empty.

Nightime sighting by fisherman on Wapsipinicon River 11 miles SW of Clinton
The witness was night fishing with two companions by a fire on a riverbank. After hearing an unusual noise from across the river, the witness saw a very large, hairy figure moving in the dark. When a flashlight was shone on it, the figure quickly disappeared into the woods and was not seen again that night.
