Motorists have early morning sighting near Enterprise
The witness was driving on Interstate 59 toward Meridian with a relative around 3 a.m. in very heavy rain. A tall hair-covered biped came from the left and moved across the front of the vehicle. The driver slowed and swerved to avoid hitting it within a few feet, and it kept crossing to the east without stopping. Both occupants took the animal to be a bigfoot.
Possible ongoing activty in a rural community near Chance
The witness claims to have seen a single dark biped twice, in 1992 and 2002, at the same bridge on a highway in the Chance, Alabama area. The creature was described as about nine feet tall with very wide shoulders and crossed the road in about three strides. The sightings are said to have occurred at dusk on clear nights.

The witness was in a car in daylight when a large hair-covered creature crossed the road ahead just below a hilltop. The creature was described as moving sideways while crossing. The witness also heard a scream described as unlike anything heard before.

By the time they reached it, the creature was at the roadside and turned its head to look at them as they drove past. They continued to a family home and reported what they had seen.

In 1987 the witness and a college roommate were driving on Highway 512 in Mississippi late on a Saturday night after a football game. A very tall upright creature covered in reddish-brown fur stepped from roadside bushes and crossed the highway in front of their car. It paused near the center line to look toward the headlights, then continued into the woods on the far side.
