The witness reported seeing a tall, stout, brown-furred creature with a non-furry face standing in a pasture surrounded by woods. The creature made a very loud noise that neighbors heard and called about, though they did not see it. Dogs barked beforehand from about a mile away and nearby cows were badly spooked.
Witnesses hear odd, loud vocalization while in the forest traveling on a logging road
Three young people were walking along a logging road after being dropped off from a truck. From about 10 yards downhill they heard vegetation rustling followed by an extremely loud, guttural, high-pitched yell that did not match any known local animal to them. Frightened, they ran about a mile back to the truck without looking back.
Man working in wooded area sees bipedal animal standing on railroad tracks
The witness was waiting on railroad tracks near Biern, Arkansas for coworkers after finishing forestry line work on a clear warm afternoon. At a track crossing in the distance the witness saw a tall dark figure that turned its whole upper body and stepped toward the witness. After a nearby truck started, the figure left the tracks for the woods in two long steps, and the witness heard unfamiliar growling and vocal sounds. The witness later waited locked inside the work vehicle until coworkers returned.
