Late at night the witness was inside the home when excitably barking dogs prompted a look out the window. A large, very hairy human-like figure was seen running upright across the road, backlit by an approaching car's headlights, and the car slowed near the crossing point. The witness then went outside to retrieve the dog, noticed a bad smell, and a later flashlight search found no footprints.

A forestry paint-crew driver backing his truck into a turnout reported seeing a red-haired biped cross the road in about a second and disappear downhill toward a wet area. Two students with him did not see the animal but reported feeling watched and urging to leave. Investigators visiting days later described large pad marks and indistinct imprints on game trails at the crossing.

Two men cutting firewood reportedly saw a white 7-foot-tall creature step to the edge of a logging road about 25 feet away, then turn and walk back into the forest with a pronounced limp. A woman watching from a truck about 300 feet away also saw it and alerted her husband, who arrived too late to see it. The husband later found and followed footprints in forest duff and made plaster casts of both feet, noting deformity of the right foot.

Two people were camping in the afternoon during heavy rain and warming themselves at a campfire. A reddish-brown, 6.5-foot-tall human-like creature stood next to a tree 50-70 feet away and stared at them for several minutes without moving. When one witness stood and approached, the creature turned and walked slowly away.

The witness was near a sewage stream off the freeway at midnight under street lights. From 100-200 feet away the witness watched a large white hairy entity about seven feet tall with a dome-shaped head bob and move between locations while apparently looking toward the witness. A dog present only sniffed the air and no tracks were found.

The witness and two companions were camping at Skookum Lake when the witness heard branches breaking in the early morning hours. He shone a powerful flashlight toward the sound and saw a creature about 150 feet away on a slope. He watched it for about 45 minutes and called for his companions to come look.

In the early morning of January 1, 1992, a couple driving back from sledding near Government Camp reported seeing a tall hair-covered figure standing in deep snow near a creek. The man stopped, approached on foot, and watched for several minutes before the figure crossed the road and ran up a bank. The figure was described as 7 to 8 feet tall with long arms, a large waist, a hairless light-colored face, and dark reddish hair elsewhere.

Through binoculars from under 200 yards away, the observer watched two dark brown female sasquatches sleeping in the open for about an hour. After waking they fed on water plants in a nearby creek for about half an hour, during which one vocalized loudly, defecated from a stump into the creek, and wiped itself. They rested again for about an hour before crossing a road and leaving into timber, with one climbing briefly into a dead yew tree and wailing.

The witness and her son went outside near dark to check why their dog was barking and noticed a strong odor. They saw a large upright figure standing on a hill about 75 yards behind the house. After she shouted, the figure walked away with an awkward lumbering gait while the dog retreated to the house.
