Oregon resident near Mt. Hood catches glimpse of a bigfoot in his neighborhood
Late at night the witness was inside the home when excitably barking dogs prompted a look out the window. A large, very hairy human-like figure was seen running upright across the road, backlit by an approaching car's headlights, and the car slowed near the crossing point. The witness then went outside to retrieve the dog, noticed a bad smell, and a later flashlight search found no footprints.
Near Ripplebrook - red-haired creature runs across road
A forestry paint-crew driver backing his truck into a turnout reported seeing a red-haired biped cross the road in about a second and disappear downhill toward a wet area. Two students with him did not see the animal but reported feeling watched and urging to leave. Investigators visiting days later described large pad marks and indistinct imprints on game trails at the crossing.

A witness reported a very hairy black-brown creature crossing in front of them near Colton in the late morning. The creature reportedly stopped, turned to look at the witness, then went into the forest. The witness followed a short distance before becoming frightened and returning to the car.

In the early morning of January 1, 1992, a couple driving back from sledding near Government Camp reported seeing a tall hair-covered figure standing in deep snow near a creek. The man stopped, approached on foot, and watched for several minutes before the figure crossed the road and ran up a bank. The figure was described as 7 to 8 feet tall with long arms, a large waist, a hairless light-colored face, and dark reddish hair elsewhere.

The witness was driving on a forest road near Music Creek when a large dark figure ran across the road in the headlights. The figure was estimated at 7 to 8 feet tall and was moving very fast downslope. The location was described southeast of Estacada, Oregon.
