Late afternoon sighting by a bow hunter in his tree stand south of Clanton
The witness was bow hunting from a tree stand in a remote woods section when, as light faded, something approached through the woods. A tall, reddish-brown, female-appearing figure entered the small clearing and passed through. The witness then climbed down and left the woods quickly.

Daylight sighting while riding ATV on his private property outside Verbena
The witness reports riding an ATV near home in the late morning when he saw a tall hairy animal watching him from 50-75 yards away. After revving the engine and pulling back over a hill, he watched for a few minutes as the calm animal turned and walked into the woods. The animal was later described as about 7.5-8 feet tall, over 400 lbs, with black coarse hair.
