After he opened the door the sound stopped, then about 30 minutes later the same sound was heard again from much farther away. He states the sound was not a dog and that he could not match it to any known animal after research.

The witness was driving on a highway in late morning when she noticed a figure at the edge of the woods by the road. She stopped for a better view and watched a tall, dark-haired, two-legged figure stare toward a pasture and then at her before walking into the woods in two long strides. She returned home shaken and later revisited the spot where flattened grass was noted.

After driving on a flat tire to a trailer home, the witness sat in the back bedroom at night. Looking out the open window, the witness saw a very tall human-like face staring in from about twenty feet away for about fifteen seconds. Additional figures were seen moving among trees toward a creek, after which the witness closed and locked the window and secured the house.

The witness and a companion were returning home in the early morning when a figure crossed the road in front of them from left to right. Both said they saw it, describing reddish-colored hair, bipedal movement, rapid motion, an estimated height of about six feet, and reddish eyes. They did not compare details until later that day, when they found their descriptions matched.

On the evening of Feb. 14, 2009, the witness and her husband were in their upstairs bedroom with the windows open when they heard unusual monkey-like whooping sounds from the woods around the house. The witness was driving to work in the early morning when she saw a large dark animal cross the road ahead and move toward woods. As she passed the crossing point, she saw a massive upright creature with long gray hair and a large white patch on its broad chest on a small hill. She returned after work and found no tracks but noticed a strong smell likened to fresh meat.

The witness was helping clear land on a forested property when they left companions during a lunch break to explore a ravine and entered a cave containing a large nest of fabric and vegetation. After exiting the cave and moving a short distance away, they heard a huff and saw the head and upper body of a hair-covered creature watching from rocks above the cave. The witness fled uphill to rejoin the companions.

The witness was walking ahead of her husband toward a fishing spot at a strip pit when a very loud screaming began just behind her. She crouched and covered her ears as the screams repeated, then heard the source run, jump a creek, and crash through brush and small trees on the far side. Her husband, who had been following behind, heard the screams and joined her to watch the vegetation move as the creature left. They left the area without returning for prints after rain washed the site.

The witness was riding around late at night because they could not sleep, looking for deer. A large dark-gray upright figure on two legs crossed the road in front of them, covering the roughly 18-foot-wide road in about three long strides. The witness perceived the crossing as very quick.

On August 1, 1990, a woman at a mobile home near Eldon, Oklahoma reported hearing noises and smelling a bad odor before seeing a very tall, heavy creature. A deputy later found large impressions at the scene. Two days later, two other residents reported a similar upright animal at a trash pile nearby.

While camping with fraternity companions near a river at night, the witness and two companions went to gather firewood near a brush-covered hill. They heard something large moving through dense brush toward them, breaking branches, with heavy bipedal-sounding steps and a musty stagnant-water odor. After retreating to the campfire and later returning with additional group members, the group heard rapid heavy steps approaching and fled in a vehicle, without ever seeing the source.

As children the witness and his older brother were playing near an old cabin on their grandfather's property overlooking the river. The brother pointed out a large hair-covered figure standing by the water about 100 yards away. When the witness shouted, the figure turned, screamed loudly, and ran quickly along the tree line and disappeared. A neighbor rushed the boys inside, and the grandfather spoke with the neighbor in another language and kept the boys from returning to the river, saying the beings were passing through.

The witness and a relative were camping and fishing at a family farm when a thunderstorm forced them to shelter in a barn. During lightning flashes they saw a tall dark upright figure moving quickly with swinging arms. They stayed in the barn overnight and next morning found fish left on a stringer had been eaten.

When 11 years old, the witness was playing near the woods at dusk and felt repeatedly drawn to look at the tree line. The witness noticed a dark pear-shaped form just inside the woods that resembled a bushy shrub. After staring, the shape stood up and walked down into a streambed and up the other side into the forest. The frightened witness ran inside reporting a monster.
