Couple and neighbors startled by unusual screams over several months near Allatoona Lake

On the evening of Feb. 14, 2009, the witness and her husband were in their upstairs bedroom with the windows open when they heard unusual monkey-like whooping sounds from the woods around the house. The series of whoops was heard twice and prompted barking from neighborhood dogs. They drove briefly around the area but did not hear the sounds again.
