Man fishing is the target of a rock thrower near Lake Wenatchee
The witness was fishing alone along a riverbank when they felt strongly that they were being watched. After wading into the river to fish near the opposite bank, a small rock flew past their head, then a second rock followed after they resumed fishing. Seeing no people around, the witness left the river and returned to their truck, attributing the throws to a sasquatch.

Two hikers ascended from Lake Chelan toward Cub Lake on a sunny summer afternoon. After entering the lake basin they repeatedly heard large trees falling nearby about every two minutes and felt the ground thud, with about five falls on the way in and five more while leaving. They never saw any trees fall or anything unusual. Feeling unsafe, they turned back and descended to camp, interpreting the sounds as something trying to drive them away.

In the summer of 1975 the witness took a visiting relative to a clear-cut to camp. From timber across the cut they heard an extremely loud, deep roar. The witness fired a revolver into the air to scare what was thought to be a bear, but the roaring grew louder and faster, prompting the group to pack up and leave without ever seeing the source.

After hearing scream-like sounds earlier in the evening, the witness lay awake and watched a tall figure move behind a windbreak, squat to rummage through a pack, then stand and walk away. The witness woke the companion, who did not see the figure but both heard movement in the trees. In the morning the pack contents were scattered and only cookies were missing from their package.
