During the summer of 1970, the witness and four companions were playing outside at night in the backyard when they noticed a strong dead-like odor. They then observed red glowing eyes in the dark woods beyond the chainlink fence from a taller-than-human figure that stood watching them. Frightened, the children ran inside to tell relatives but were not believed.
