Late at night the witness was driving north toward Atlanta when he saw a very large dark-brown hairy creature step easily over a barbed-wire fence beside an S-curve. The creature turned its head toward the witness but did not run, continuing to walk along the fence line while the witness braked and then drove on, frightened.
