The witness and a companion parked at a conservation area lot late at night to look at stars. The witness swept the adjacent field with a powerful flashlight and saw a very tall, slender white upright figure about 50 yards away. After a few seconds the figure moved west, and the witness and companion left the area without seeing it again.

The witness, then 16, was driving a pickup with two passengers to drop off a friend on a rural dirt road on a clear dark evening. The headlights illuminated a tall bipedal being covered in light brown hair walking along the roadside. The being stepped into a ditch and jumped a barbed-wire cattle fence on one leg within a few seconds. All three occupants reportedly saw it, remaining silent until one asked if the others had seen it.
Teenagers find footprint near Daugherty
Three people walking and exploring near a harvested soybean field noticed large steps in the grass and then found a very large footprint in dirt that had washed into the grass. They could not follow additional tracks because it was getting dark and the trail led into woods. No cast or photo was made, and nothing else was found later.
