The witness was driving west on a dark rural hill road at night when headlights illuminated a large brown bipedal figure standing in the road. The figure had long wavy hair, broad shoulders, and debris in the hair on its backside. It stepped once to the guardrail, crossed over it, and disappeared from view.

The animal knocked the dog down, emitted a ticking sound and a musky odor, then walked into the woods where the witness lost sight of it while wearing waders. The witness later found the dog with blood on it and reported seeing a taped-off police search at the site.
