Homeless camper reports stalking by a bigfoot near Great Egg Harbor River
The witness was stealth camping alone in woods near town. Late at night a powerful foul odor filled the tent, followed by bipedal footsteps circling the tent, breathing and sniffing at the tarp. After the witness shouted, the visitor growled, walked away on two feet, and wood-on-wood knocks were heard as the odor faded. The witness left the area the next morning.

Campsite intrusion near river.
The witness and her husband were camped in a tent on a gravel riverbank during a two-day float trip. About 2 a.m. the witness heard splashing in the river and woke her husband. Something then ran on two legs past their tent, shaking the ground. They later searched but found no tracks and noticed a very foul odor.
