Large, dark biped crosses road at night near Appleton

The witness was driving home from work around 2:30 a.m. when a large dark figure crossed the road about 50 feet ahead, moving very fast on two legs. It crossed in about two strides and disappeared into a farm field as the witness braked and turned toward it. After stopping, the witness saw nothing further and noted no tracks, attributing the lack to frozen ground.
