The witness received a motion alert from a cellular trail camera overlooking a creek and saw a single large brown-and-black bipedal figure standing in the water about 100 feet away. A live view checked seconds later showed the figure was gone, and an evening search found no footprints. Comparison photos with a 6-foot relative standing at the same spot suggested the figure was several feet taller and two to three times wider.

While fishing alone from a boat on Lake Arthur in the morning, the witness heard repeated wood knocks from the shoreline followed by rock clacking sounds from farther west. The alternating sequence continued for about 8-10 minutes until a passing boat caused the sounds to stop. They later played an online recording of reported howling that they felt sounded exactly the same. The reporter ran to wake a sleeping companion while the other two put out the fire. Those two companions reported seeing a large hairy man-like figure about 20 feet away, about 7-8 feet tall with red eyes, which then ran off hunched over.
