Foot steps heard while walking on trail at night
In the spring of 1994 the witness was camping with friends and walked alone on a trail around 1 a.m. He heard footsteps keeping parallel in dense brush to his right and judged from the stepping pattern that it was walking on two feet. Frightened as the sounds moved closer, he returned to camp, woke friends, and went back to search but found nothing.

Three children were camping in a tent in a backyard near a canal when they heard loud dumpster noises and deep grunting from across the canal. They then heard heavy footsteps approaching and a large splash about 50 yards away as something appeared to enter the canal toward them. They fled screaming to the house, and the adult found the tent leveled, moved from its stakes, and covered in water and mud.

Around 1980-81 the witness was hiking with two companions in an overgrown pasture and smelled a strong stench in an abandoned trailer. Later near a forked canal, the witness saw a brownish entity with a humanoid head across the canal that raised its arms as they approached. The witness and a relative were playing in a vacant lot across a narrow canal from a wooded area with a dirt-bike trail. They heard grunting and movement in bushes beside a large tree and saw a large black-brown human-like figure near the tree. The figure reportedly snapped a thick branch at its base with ease, then ran into the woods knocking down small trees.

In July 1974 the witness and his older cousin were staying overnight in a relative's sitting room in southern Florida. Late at night under floodlights they watched a tall hairy biped outside the picture window scream, then walk around the property while they followed it from window to window. They saw it eat a watermelon with both hands and scoop water to drink before leaving on a wooded trail.
