The witness was driving at night toward his cabin when a large antlered buck stopped in the road panting and staring to the side. He then saw binocular gold eyeshine and a gray-skinned creature moving spider-like on all fours emerge from a treeline. The creature chased the deer into a field, rose smoothly to two legs while running, and the witness heard a loud crash to his right and fled.
