Two children discover small footprints frozen on the surface of a creek near Jackson.

As children, the witness and a sibling companion went to play on a creek that had partly thawed and then refrozen hard overnight. They found a line of barefoot-like prints with distinct toes crossing the ice for about twenty feet and continuing up a steep bank. No other prints were present, and the witness judged a human origin unlikely because of the remote location and freezing weather.
