Two deer hunters observe upright walking biped near Tallassee
Two companions deer hunting walked toward their vehicle when they heard a low rumble and splashes at a drinking hole. They then watched an upright grayish-brown creature for about a minute as it lingered and walked over a ridge out of sight. They described it as 7 to 8 feet tall, heavily built with very long arms, and insisted it never dropped to all fours like a bear.

The witness was driving down an on-ramp to Interstate 59 at Exit 166 toward Birmingham in the afternoon when she noticed a figure beside the trees. She described huge green eyes, a visible shoulder, and an arm leaning on a tree, estimating the figure at 6 to 8 feet tall with dark gray-black coloring. The figure stayed behind the tree without moving and was seen only for a few seconds as she drove past.

Early one morning the witness was on the porch seeing a companion off to work when she noticed two large hair-covered creatures sitting by a stump between properties. She screamed, and before the companion could turn around both creatures sprang up and fled into the woods in a fraction of a second. She described them as light to medium brown and very broad-shouldered with arms reaching the ground while seated, but she could not discern faces or standing height.

The witness was driving a VW bus around a tight curve at night when the headlights illuminated a white-haired creature loping uphill on all fours toward the road. As it reached the road edge within feet of the vehicle, it stood upright on its hind legs. The witness drove past it, did not see it in the mirrors in the dark, and was frightened.
