The witness was bow hunting deer from a concealed ground blind when a herd of deer ran through erratically. A very large black bipedal figure chasing the deer ran past at close range, knocked down a rotted tree, and continued into the pines. The witness fled to the family farmhouse and told a relative, then avoided discussing the event for years.
