Daytime sighting while fishing on Waterman Lake
The witness was fishing from a boat in the afternoon when they noticed movement on a hillside about 20 yards away. A grey, roughly seven-to-eight-foot-tall figure holding trees paused when spotted, then moved back up the hill and stood briefly before continuing uphill silently. The witness left without approaching the vegetated shoreline and told a friend days later.

As a child the witness was at home at night with siblings and a cousin when the doorbell rang repeatedly with no one there. An older brother became hysterical after seeing something peeking from behind a tree and gesturing, and later a neighbor arrived saying something had followed him in the woods. Two older girls then saw a dark form at the bottom of a trail that moved and had red eyes, and also something with a cone-shaped head peeking around a garage, and the younger children later saw a large figure pass by a window.
Memory told of a close daylight encounter while playing near Mikana
Four children were playing on a swing set at the edge of the woods when they turned to see a large hairy biped standing about 10 feet away staring at them. After a few seconds of mutual staring, the creature headed back into the woods while the children ran to the house to report a monster, but the adults laughed. A year later the witnesses concluded it matched Bigfoot after seeing a book with film stills.
