Dog walker lady has daylight sighting of a Bigfoot in a nature preserve NW of Coolville
The witness was walking dogs on paths in the woods at dusk when the dogs became alert and a strange kaw-kaw call was heard. The witness then saw a gray, medium-build, roughly seven-foot-tall figure with shiny blue eyes and bent arms that looked at them, shuffled its feet, and turned into the woods toward a ridge. The witness left with the dogs and later reported finding a partial footprint.
A series of encounters on Haga Ridge near the Wayne National Forest
The witness reports inspecting the yard on May 26, 2002 after being told about footprints about two weeks earlier, finding multiple sets of large footprints following a muddy ravine through the front yard. A bird feeder was found bent over while a nearby feeder was untouched, suspected to have been pulled down by the track makers. The witness states the family has not personally seen the creatures.

The witness was sleeping at a relative's house near Wayne National Forest in late November 1998 and awoke around 2:23 a.m. to hollow thudding like a branch or log struck against a tree trunk. The knocks came from a draw below the house and from farther away in alternating exchanges at regular intervals for about 20 minutes, with locations shifting but never converging. The witness stayed inside, saw nothing, and interpreted the sounds as deliberate communication, discounting animals, falling branches, or humans.

Evening sighting by squirrel hunter in woods behind old brick Kilns
The witness was squirrel hunting in thick woods when they walked by an animal about ten feet away without noticing it. The animal then ran off bipedally with a striding gait while making a monkey-like screaming sound. The witness first thought it was a bear but concluded a bear could not run on two feet and called it bigfoot.
Three college students witness a large creature standing just off of the railroad tracks.
Three college students walked back to their dorms along railway tracks at night after buying snacks. Ahead of them a dark shape crossed the tracks and briefly blocked a distant streetlight. A short distance later they smelled a strong wet-dog odor and the reporter saw a tall creature at close range with shining eyes. The group fled to their dorm, later drove back for another look without approaching closely, and the reporter retrieved dropped groceries the next day.
Bow hunter recalls hearing screams near Wayne National Forest
Late one October morning the witness left a house on foot for a bow hunt carrying recording gear. About 100 to 125 yards down a logging road he heard a loud sustained scream from the woods to his left, estimated within 100 feet. The sound rose from a low moan to a scream then fell to a rumble ending in three woof-like blasts, lasting 7-10 seconds and never repeated. He continued hunting in the opposite direction and nothing further occurred.
