Hunter describes trailer shaking then scream/howl outside Council on boundary of Payette NF and Boise NF
The witness was sleeping in a travel trailer at a hunting camp when violent shaking woke him. An air horn had no effect, but setting off the truck panic alarm with lights and horn stopped the shaking. About five minutes later a very loud howl-growl-scream came from behind the trailer. The next day the witness and a companion could not replicate the movement by pushing the trailer.

The witness was camping overnight with family and companions. He stepped out of his tent in the early morning to relieve himself and heard grunting very close by, then went back inside. While inside he heard movement approach, contact with a vehicle and brushing along the tent with grunting and sniffing, before it walked away.
