Strange "yowling" sounds heard behind home in Constance
Friends living by the Ohio River reported hearing loud yowling from the woods behind their house that they could not identify as a known animal. They also reported hearing something crashing through underbrush on a steep hillside. No visual sighting or footprints were reported, and the reporter relaying the account noted it could be a known animal such as a coyote, bobcat, or bear.

Two coworkers claimed to see a tall, dark, hair-covered biped accompanied by a black dog at a garden center entrance in Mashpee in the fall of 1980 or 1981 between 2 and 3 a.m. They reported extreme shock and drove away at high speed. The figure then walked into the woods on the other side of the road and he drove home.
Sighting along side of road by teens walking home from a party
The witness's great-aunt recounted that as a young girl around 1905 she and two siblings were walking home from a party at night when they saw a dark-haired, man-like thing sitting in a field beside the road. The entity silently watched them and turned its head as they passed, its eyes reflecting the moonlight. The three walked home arm in arm, with one looking back to check if it was following.
