The witness was driving east on Sagamore Road on a hot late morning. A dark brown or black figure emerged from the right and crossed the road and adjacent open area in three strides before disappearing. The witness noted its forearms held high, a silver-gray flash near the forearm and head, a stocky build, and height well over six feet. The witness concluded it was not a jogger because of its dark coloration in heat, inhuman speed, stride length, and thicker arms.

Two coworkers arrived at a creek to fish before dawn after a night shift. Shortly after getting out of the car they heard a loud scream and strange yell-like sound from ahead, followed by something moving through brush. After fishing until daylight they walked the creek and found two large barefoot-like prints in a sandbar near disturbed mussels, leading up an embankment into dense thorns.

While driving to church on a Sunday morning in August 2004, the witness saw a figure standing behind tall vegetation near a pond. The figure was visible from the waist up, appeared covered in dark chestnut fur-like hair, and had very broad shoulders. The witness was horseback riding on a pine-forest trail with her mother when her horse tensed and bolted. She turned and saw a tall, dark, upright figure behind a log that then ran toward a field. Both horses galloped uncontrolled back toward camp, leaving the riders shaken. She estimated the figure at 7-8 feet and said its proportions did not look human.

They heard growls and vegetation shook violently, so they retreated. Through the night they heard moaning and howls and had rocks and limbs thrown toward them from across the pond, finding no tracks the next morning.

The witness was smoking in his garage at night when he felt a strong sense of being watched and became fearful and went inside. Shortly after he and his wife were in bed, they heard strange evolving vocalizations from the woods behind the house through an open window, including babbling, crying-like sounds and loud screaming lasting about three minutes. A neighbor's flashlight appeared during the screaming, after which the couple closed the window and the sounds stopped.
