On the morning of November 15, the witness was deer hunting when back-and-forth calling was heard lasting until daybreak. The sounds were described as lower pitched than coyote or wolf and coming from nearby, with knocks to the northwest preceding howling from the southwest. The woods were unusually quiet, with spooky deer and few gunshots despite many hunters in the area.

A tall creature with broad shoulders and reddish-brown matted fur emerged and crossed the road just ahead of the car in a few fast strides. Shortly after sitting down, he heard a sustained higher-pitched howl from one side and a lower sustained response from the other side, neither matching animals he knew. Minutes later while getting binoculars from his truck, he heard a low gruff voice-like sound resembling "Hey You" from close range, then returned to the blind.

The contractors reported having rocks thrown at them over two days, with one rock hitting a worker, followed on two later evenings by loud growls from woods only yards behind them. The figure moved upright on two legs and disappeared into dense pine forest. The witness's car and another car slowed near where it entered the trees, but the figure was not relocated in the brush.

The witness was driving along a rural road in the early evening when he spotted a dark figure sitting in a vineyard beside the road. He continued a short distance, turned around in a church lot, and returned to find another driver stopped at the same spot. Both then watched the figure walk upright on two legs into the adjacent treeline, which convinced the witness it was not a bear.

While driving over a river bridge in town during the day, the witness noticed a large dark figure standing motionless in the river. Initially thinking it might be a fisher, the witness realized it appeared far larger, estimating 8 to 9 feet tall, brownish-black, and facing away. After looking back at the road and then again at the river, the figure was still present, but when the witness drove back to check, it was gone.

While camping on a hunting trip with two companions, the witness heard a very loud bang resembling wood striking wood from about 50-60 yards away across a creek. After about five minutes the same loud sound recurred. The group armed themselves with spotlights and guns, stayed up late, and slept ready thereafter, but heard nothing further and found no tracks the next morning.

Around midnight in early fall, the witness was in bed watching TV at home when he heard loud howls through closed windows, followed by ape-like grunts. His horse became very nervous and distant dogs were barking. He woke his wife after the sounds stopped and they later compared the sounds to Bigfoot recordings online and found them very similar.

The witness was backpacking with a relative and a group at an alpine lake and went to explore the shore alone in the evening. She found many barefoot prints of different sizes that were unusually deep in mud and showed what she interpreted as a mid-tarsal break. She tested the mud firmness against her own weight, followed the prints from the water into gravel and rocks, and concluded they were not human.
