Fisherman finds possible footprints on the Carp River north of St. Ignace
The witness was steelhead fishing alone upriver in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in the morning. The witness found two sets of barefoot tracks of different sizes crossing a four-foot-deep stretch of river. The tracks were described as flat, broad, without arches, and sinking deeper than the witness's own tracks. The witness believed they were recently made and not human, and took photos and video.
Target shooter hears strange sounds (see video) and finds possible tree-breaks and prints off of the Mountain Loop Highway
The witness and a companion stopped off a forest road so the witness could target shoot while the companion waited at the truck. After the witness returned to the road, both heard repeated very loud cracking snaps from a wooded hilltop about 100 yards away, spaced about 30 seconds apart, along with movement and bark-ripping sounds. The witness walked partway up the hill filming with a cell phone and captured at least one loud crack before returning to the truck and leaving.
Fisherman on Lake Arthur startled by series of possible wood knocks and rock clacks
While fishing alone from a boat on Lake Arthur in the morning, the witness heard repeated wood knocks from the shoreline followed by rock clacking sounds from farther west. The alternating sequence continued for about 8-10 minutes until a passing boat caused the sounds to stop. Disturbed by the experience, the witness started the boat and moved to another part of the lake.
Brothers observe tall animal during early morning visit to hunting area near Lineville
The witness and his brother were sitting in a pickup truck while looking at land to lease. They spotted a large dark figure crouched in an open field near the timberline several hundred yards away. The figure stood upright on two legs and walked into the timber out of sight. They watched it for about three minutes total.
Possible structure found when checking out the location of a sighting near Lakeville
The witness returned to a rural wooded location on 08/13/2015 to re-check a possible built tree structure previously found after a relative's walk in the area. The witness took additional photos of the structure and surrounding area, including a broken tree and large logs placed across a nearby trail. No creature was seen; the claim is limited to the structure and tree damage documented in photos.
Turkey hunter discovers possible grass bed west of Melbourne
While turkey hunting the witness cut across a sawgrass field and found a large piled mound of pulled-up sawgrass interpreted as a bed or nest, larger than a pickup truck bed. He also noted nearby palmetto palms stripped of branches. An investigator later visited the remote site with the witness, measured and photographed the structure and examined its construction.

A group was fishing off a bridge late at night while coyotes and owls were heard. They then heard a long, loud single-tone howl from up the river that they described as a typical Bigfoot howl. Afterward the forest went silent and the group was intimidated, with the witness's wife wanting to leave.
Vacationers blame a restless night on possible vocalizations at a remote mountain cabin near Bryson City
The witness and three companions were staying at a rented cabin in remote mountains. In the early morning after two of them got up unable to sleep, they heard grunting nearby followed by a very loud scream and sounds of something running through the woods breaking branches. They then heard whooping sounds off and on for about two hours and reported that the whoops answered when they imitated them. They also reported a foul garbage-like odor.
Dark figure crosses the road at night in front of motorist near High Ridge
The witness was driving south late at night when an upright dark figure came off a wooded hillside and crossed the road in front of the vehicle. The figure crossed from west to east about 30 feet ahead and continued up the opposite hill within about three to four seconds. The witness described it as roughly seven to eight feet tall with a stocky build.
Possible footprints in the snow found in Bedford Park (with photos)
The witness was performing pest control service when they found a trail of large prints with toe impressions in snow. They took photos and video and tried to follow the trail until it ended where there was no snow. They did not see the maker of the prints. A follow-up phone call recorded estimates of 18 inches long by 8 inches wide with five toes and short steps.
Passenger has possible daylight sighting near New Preston
The witness was driving along a road overlooking a lake in daylight when she noticed a tall black figure moving easily up a steep snow-covered hillside. The figure crossed a driveway between wooded areas toward distant power lines, slouching and swinging its arms, with no hat, clothing, or snowshoes and a head that appeared to sit directly on its shoulders. The observation lasted a few minutes as the car moved, with the dark figure standing out against snow and sunlight. The witness first thought it was a man but concluded a man could not have walked that slope in deep snow so easily.
Teen looking out his back window spots a figure behind a tree south of Rockmart
The witness was making dinner in the kitchen and looking out the back window toward the woods when he noticed a large black figure crouched behind a tree. He saw a long hairy arm and a foot protruding from behind the tree and judged it too large to be a man. He ran to alert his father, but the figure was gone by the time his father reached the window. A later search found no tracks or impressions.
Possible night time knocks startle a woman out of her sleep near Traverse City
The wife woke in the early morning hearing seven low-volume knocks like wood striking a tree from the woods east of the house. She woke her husband, who heard nothing himself. They later looked for tracks but fresh snow prevented finding anything. The husband later wondered if the knocks were related to Bigfoot after seeing a nearby report.
Motorist has possible night time sighting near Plainview
Late at night the witness was driving home near a wildlife area when headlights revealed a large bipedal figure beside the treeline about 15-20 feet from the road. The figure appeared to be walking away into the trees showing its back, and when the witness stopped the headlights had moved past it so nothing could be seen. The witness then left the area alone.
Witness hears possible whoops and chatter behind his home north of Edwardsville
The witness was inside the home at the computer early in the morning when a very loud, unfamiliar whoop was heard from the backyard. The house is described as well insulated from outside sound, yet the sound was very loud. It was too dark to see anything outside, and nothing was seen.
Hunters in the Big Cypress National Preserve observe large biped traversing their recent path
The witness and a relative were hunting and crossing an open field to leave around dusk. The witness, waiting alone in the open, saw a distant figure walking with large steps along their earlier path and then standing behind a tree watching and moving its head side to side. After the relative rejoined and looked toward it, both ran to the trail and got a ride out from a passing couple.
Homeless camper reports stalking by a bigfoot near Great Egg Harbor River
The witness was stealth camping alone in woods near town. Late at night a powerful foul odor filled the tent, followed by bipedal footsteps circling the tent, breathing and sniffing at the tarp. After the witness shouted, the visitor growled, walked away on two feet, and wood-on-wood knocks were heard as the odor faded. The witness left the area the next morning.

While hunting deer until dark, the witness heard owl-like hoots and a howl and then hit a tree with a branch to make knocks. While walking out the witness noticed bent trees and broken branches resembling a stick structure. A few minutes later two loud knocks and a drawn-out yip, also described as including a whoop, were heard from behind, after which the witness hurried back to the truck.
Snowplow driver has possible night-time sighting near Coles Corner
The witness, working as a snowplow driver at night, reported seeing a large shaggy figure standing on a train trestle over the highway in the headlights. The figure reportedly paused and turned to look at the plow, then was gone when the driver returned about ten minutes later.
Deer hunter hears possible vocalization at dusk near Queen City
The witness was climbing down from a deer stand in a marshy area in the evening when an extremely frightening howl came from directly behind him. He states the sound was unlike familiar night animals and made him feel unwelcome. He then stopped hunting that marsh for the remainder of the year.
