The witness and a relative were camping in the Colville National Forest when they heard a loud howl or scream from the woods northwest of their campsite in the early morning. The sound was compared to a recording attributed to a Bigfoot group and followed a couple of hours of complete forest silence. No visual contact was reported.

She drove home terrified and later found no dent or scratch on the car.

A large creature leapt across the narrow road in front of their moving car in a single fast motion described as a blur. After wading into the river to fish near the opposite bank, a small rock flew past their head, then a second rock followed after they resumed fishing. Seeing no people around, the witness left the river and returned to their truck, attributing the throws to a sasquatch.

The witness and a companion were cutting cedar blocks by a creek when they heard a loud, long drawn-out scream resembling a man yelling for help coming from below them. The sound was loud enough to be heard over a running powersaw and was heard three times over several minutes before stopping. No creature was seen and no roads were noted below the sound's location.
