Wildlife enthusiast records moaning howls near Bainbridge
The witness went to a remote forested area in south Georgia to listen to and record night wildlife sounds. They personally heard three wood knocks and two distant whoops, which two companions present did not perceive. A recorder left running overnight captured several distant howls.
Couple and neighbors startled by unusual screams over several months near Allatoona Lake
On the evening of Feb. 14, 2009, the witness and her husband were in their upstairs bedroom with the windows open when they heard unusual monkey-like whooping sounds from the woods around the house. The series of whoops was heard twice and prompted barking from neighborhood dogs. They drove briefly around the area but did not hear the sounds again.

The witness was sleeping alone in a trail shelter when awakened after midnight by heavy movement and loud repeated whooping calls nearby. Unable to see the source in darkness, the witness noted the sound moved sideways and the surrounding woods went silent for several minutes. No physical traces were found during a morning search.
Deer hunter hears strange screams and possible stalking near Pigeon Mountain
The witness and a friend heard strange high-pitched screams on successive evenings while hunting. The friend also reported hearing something throwing objects around a treestand, and sounds described as wood hitting trees, sticks being thrown, whoops and screams. The witness did not see anything and interpreted the sounds as a Bigfoot displaced onto the property by nearby clearcutting.
