The witness reports hearing howling and whistle-like sounds behind their house near woods outside town frequently over about three weeks, usually around 2 a.m., distinguishing them from nearby trains. Possible camp stalking and strange sounds heard near Moore's Hill
Four boys were camping behind a house on a wooded hilltop above a creek drainage. During the day they heard loud, repeated bird-like and chimp-like calls approaching to within a few dozen yards, accompanied by movement in the brush, which visibly unsettled one companion. That evening they heard whistling calls across the camp for about an hour, and after most fell asleep the awake brother heard someone approach from the creek side and stand at the camp edge breathing heavily before leaving.
