Group of fisherman with a possible sighting of whitish/grey creature outside Neosho Falls
Three companions were night fishing from a bridge when the witness exchanged whoop calls with something across a field that steadily approached. After packing gear and waiting by a truck with lights on, they heard footsteps in a ditch and briefly saw only the whitish-grey top of a head. The entity then gave a loud whoop from about 20 yards away, prompting them to flee, and daylight examination the next day suggested it was over seven feet tall.
Possible encounter while fishing at Kanapolis Lake
Late at night while fishing at the Kanopolis Lake spillway, the reporter noticed movement on a hill and then a large figure peeking from behind a tree about 150-200 yards away. The reporter and an adult companion watched it peek in and out for about 45 minutes, seeing red eye-shine with and without a flashlight. Near the end, the companion heard a single knock and a 3-4 second high-pitched scream from the figure's area, which the reporter could not hear over the flowing water.

The witness was working in a crawl space beneath a house in daylight when he noticed movement outside. On the last occasion he saw the back of a dark lower leg and foot about 30 feet away moving silently out of view. He described the figure as human-like and estimated its height at eight feet or more.

Two people driving on a gravel road around midday saw a hairy biped run across the road about a block ahead near a low-water bridge over a creek. The passenger looked up late and saw it only briefly before it entered the woods, while the driver reportedly got a better look. The witness estimated it at about five feet tall with reddish hair and emphasized its unusual speed.
