He saw a dark figure moving along the field edge and into a ravine about 60 yards away, walking upright on two legs, and heard something walking in the ravine. He first thought it was a trespasser but concluded it was not a person in camouflage.

She tried to alert companions who did not see it, then left for the campfire out of fear. Later the group heard coyotes howling for several minutes before they stopped abruptly, and nothing further happened that night.

The figure later appeared at another tree behind reeds and underbrush watching the vehicle. The companion could not see what the witness described from his position in the vehicle.

The witness continued about a quarter-mile before being able to stop and return, by which time the figure was gone without a visible trail, and after watching several minutes continued to work.

The witness stated it was unlike deer, turkey, hog, cow, bear or human commonly seen in the area.

From about 500 feet away, the witness saw the upper half of a large dark upright figure moving south along the treeline behind a knoll.
