The witness was staying alone in a cabin and woke around 2:30 a.m. to look out the bedroom window toward another lighted cabin about 75 yards away. The witness saw a very tall dark figure silhouetted against the basement lights striding through snow and swinging its arms. After watching for about 20-30 seconds the witness closed the curtain, later associated the figure with images of Bigfoot, and checked the door locks to feel safe.

The witness and his wife were driving near a reservoir in late morning when they noticed a large dark figure across the lake. The figure walked across a valley and up steep terrain with long smooth strides, then paused behind a tree to watch before walking away into timber. The witness estimated it was about 8 feet tall and wore no clothing.

While driving south to go hunting before sunrise, the witness and a companion saw a grey, shaggy bipedal figure run across the highway and up an embankment over a fence. The figure was bent over and moving very fast with its arms pumping, and had very long hair on its forearms. After stopping to look with a flashlight, they heard two distinct whistles from the trees.

A large group was gathered for a nighttime barbecue and fire at a forest clearing when a very loud high-pitched scream was heard from just outside the clearing. Moments later a very tall powerfully built ape-like creature covered in long beige hair with dark areas on the face and elbows was seen entering the clearing and then leaving at great speed. The group fled in panic leaving belongings behind, and a follow-up visit about a week later found no belongings or tracks.
Daylight sighting by woodsman of two bipeds stalking an elk
The witness was positioned on one mountainside watching across a valley toward an opposite slope where an elk was being stalked by two large brown animals first taken for bears. Viewed through binoculars, the two stood upright and walked on two legs, keeping the elk between them and at times hiding behind trees before entering heavy timber after about five minutes. The outcome for the elk was not seen, but the witness thought the pair probably killed it.
