Recollection of possible encounters at a cemetery in the village of Cuba
Late at night four friends walking past a graveyard noticed a very large object resting on a branch in a large tree. After they shone a flashlight at it, the object dropped about twenty feet and ran quickly toward woods behind the graveyard. The witness returned at sunrise and found very large impressions in the grass with a stride neither he nor a taller companion could match, leading him to estimate the creature at seven to nine feet tall.
Bow hunters find footprint and hear vocalizations near Indian Heaven Wilderness
Two elk hunters stopped to wash in a creek off a forest road and found a single very large footprint in soft sandy soil. The print was estimated to be much larger and deeper than an adult's print and lacked clear toe marks. No animal was seen, and no other tracks are described.

The witness was hunting hogs at dawn in a remote forest area while a companion was stationed about 150 yards away. After noticing paired trails in wet grass and hearing soft splashing from a cypress head, the witness heard a low powerful harrumph-like sound that caused alarm. The witness then took cover behind a dirt mound and watched the area for about an hour without seeing anything leave to the east, west, or south.
Hiker finds footprints and hears communicating sounds
The witness traveled to woods near Eagle Lake to camp overnight and listen for unusual sounds. In the afternoon he found elongated foot-like impressions, including one 12-inch print with four toes. After dark from a tree stand he heard repeated wood-on-wood strikes, a tree falling without cracking, footsteps uphill out of sight, and prolonged human-like hooting from multiple directions, followed by hours of silence. He left on foot around 3 a.m. without further incident.

The witness and a companion were walking a foot path around a lake in a small park. They found two large footprints crossing the path from the lake side into the woods and photographed them. The area was unusually quiet and the witness recalled feeling as if they were being watched.

The witness noticed a disturbed sand bar suggesting something had forded the creek, then found a single large footprint in wet sand between rocks. The witness compared the print to their own boot and described it as much larger and wider.

The witness and relatives stopped at a meadow while fishing and scouting for elk sign. The witness found three large fresh scats of unrecognized plant-based material and a large humanlike footprint beside one scat. Two companions hiked 2 to 3 miles into isolated terrain to scout bear-hunting locations. While crossing a breached beaver dam they found three sets of very fresh, large tracks in soft mud with long strides that left the mud and climbed a steep rocky hill. They reported feeling watched shortly before the find, felt shaken, and left the area quickly with no further incident.

The witness and a companion hiked into a remote area beside Cedar Lake to collect ancient amber. While wading along the flooded shoreline the day after hiking in, they found fresh, huge human-like footprints in a sandy area that led west into the swamp. The prints were described as 14-15 inches long, narrow for their length, with a running stride and deep depressions. They recorded the prints and surrounding swamp with a video camera.

The witness was day-hiking alone in a remote wilderness area when they noticed a strong sickly-sweet, garlic-like odor they could not source. In the same area they heard a screeching vocalization they did not recognize as bear, mountain lion, or raptor. They also found large footprints near where they had eaten lunch, measuring about 14 by 6 inches, which they felt were not bear tracks but could not positively identify due to hard rocky ground.

The witness discovered two very large footprints in the freshly tilled soil of a front-yard vegetable garden about four or five years before reporting. Late in the evening the witness drove around the apartment complex and saw a dark figure standing at the edge of the woods by the trash bins. The figure looked at the witness and then moved slowly back into the woods. The next morning footprints were found near the dumpster in snow, leading the witness to conclude the figure was not a bear.
Memory told of finding possible fresh tracks and pebbles thrown while hiking near Jasper
The witness and spouse were hiking uphill in heavy snow when they found about a dozen very fresh, large barefoot-like tracks crossing the slope. As they examined the tracks, nearby foliage shook as if an animal was present, and they felt sudden fear and decided to leave. While descending about 300 yards, small pebbles were repeatedly tossed at them from behind, striking the witness in the back without injury until they began to run.

The witness arrived early to hike a park nature trail after overnight rain and found elk tracks on the muddy path. On top of the elk tracks was a set of much larger barefoot human-like prints continuing in the same direction for dozens of feet. No other visitors had been on the trail, and the witness asked a ranger about the prints after looping back.

The witness reported walking at night from a campsite toward a bridge along a sandy creek bottom. They found large footprints in the sand and became aware of something large moving through brush with sounds. They also noticed an unusual odor in the area where the sounds occurred.
Recollection of seeing a huge bipedal shadow while camping that steals food near Steelville
The witness was camping alone in a tall tent when something large approached at night. A tall shadow with broad shoulders was cast on the tent by an outside lantern. The visitor opened food containers, ate bread, growled, overturned a cooler and carried off meat before leaving toward the river where vocalizations were heard. Large footprints and teeth marks were found the following morning.
Four footprints discovered ranging from 16 - 18 inches long
The witness and a coworker were doing slashing work in a dry logging block when the coworker said his safety helmet had been moved about 100 yards. The witness examined the helmet and saw no marks. Together they looked near where the helmet had been left and found about four large footprints in clay mossy ground.
