Possible nighttime sighting by motorist near Ball Club
The witness was driving east on Highway 2 east of Ball Club late at night when she noticed a large brown hairy figure standing off the side of the road. The figure appeared to be waiting to cross toward a nearby lake and did not look at her vehicle. She continued driving without stopping and later returned in daylight but remained in her vehicle.

Two companions hauled garage trash to a brush burn pile near woods after dark and tended a large fire. They heard running around them in the dark and loud tree-limb breaking, then saw a tall dark figure move along the woods edge and duck in. They fled on the tractor and did not return that night.
Man recalls multiple witness incident as a teenager camping south of Cloquet
Six teenagers were camped by a creek for overnight fishing and sat around a bonfire late in the evening. They heard footsteps approaching along the creek bed, noticed a strong unpleasant odor, and watched a very tall two-legged shadow circle their camp at a distance before continuing along the creek. They remained silent during the passing and did not search for tracks the next morning.
