The witness saw a large silhouette move past a tree toward the river, heard splashing and screaming, then footsteps approach the tent and run away. They waited for daylight and left quickly.

The witness told no one at the time and searched for tracks the next morning without success.

Looking out the living-room window, the witness saw a large dark silhouette filling the window width and standing silently looking in. The figure was described as taller than six feet, with several inches of moonlit sky visible above its head, and showed no discernible features or movement.

During midnight rounds at an isolated school compound, the witness crossed a suspension bridge and heard something raiding trash cans by the cookhouse. He threw rocks toward a large dark figure under the eaves, which stood erect, stepped onto the bridge, dodged thrown rocks, vaulted the bridge cables and fled upstream on two legs. He noted glowing eyes and a foul stench, then returned to his trailer without anyone else responding.
