Possible dusk sighting from a roadway while walking a dog outside of Monterey
At dusk the witness was walking a relative's dog on a road when they saw a short hairy biped crossing the road about 200 feet ahead. The figure crossed the road and a ditch in one stride and continued uphill into the woods while the dog stood rigid and silent. The witness did not follow and turned back.

Man recalls watching a possible late night road crossing from his home outside Fieldale
Around 3 a.m. on a cold clear night during Christmas season, the witness got up for a drink and looked out the back-door window toward a lit road. He watched a tall, hairy, upright figure with long arms climb a steep bank, grip a bridge rail, cross the two-lane road in one stride, and disappear down the opposite bank. The observation lasted about five seconds under a street light.
