YESTERDAY (!!!): Bigfoot knocks (from multiple creatures) near Port Townsend
While walking alone in the afternoon the witness noticed a brief skunk-like odor and then heard repetitive knocking from the woods. The witness tapped a stick on trees in patterns and heard knocks returned in the same numbers, first from one direction and later from two directions. After a much louder wood-on-wood smashing sounded nearby and the other knocks stopped, the witness left the forest quickly without seeing the source.

The witness was at home overnight with bedroom windows open after letting her dog out when she heard a loud siren-like howl, followed a few minutes later by a fainter similar sound from farther away. Feeling watched, the witness left for the house, and horses were reported as restless afterward.

The witness and a companion were elk hunting off a forest road when they heard a loud sharp snap uphill interpreted as a large limb or small tree being broken. The witness and his wife were sitting by a campfire late at night drinking coffee when a strong sulfur-musty odor drifted into camp. A piece of wood then flew into camp and struck their trailer, and after the odor returned a rock was thrown into camp near them. The wife also heard distant screams that evening, and no other people were seen in the immediate area.

The witness was alone fishing and camping by a lake and creek. After noticing a foul litter-like odor, the witness heard a loud knock, whistles, and rustling, then had large rocks repeatedly thrown toward camp. After hearing an extremely loud angry whoop, the witness fled by car while loud noises moved through brush alongside the road.

The witness hiked a loop trail near Lake Cushman with three family members in late morning. The group heard a mournful 8-10 second howl/groan and about 30 minutes later encountered a strong skunk- and ammonia-like odor near a creek bridge on both sides of the trail. They also noticed unusual uprooted mushrooms along the trail. No creature was seen.

When the witness stopped the sounds stopped, and when walking resumed the follower kept pace. The witness ran toward home and the follower pursued onto gravel and pavement on two feet while making low growls and calls and trying to cut the witness off. At the house the witness's dog confronted the unseen pursuer, which halted very close before withdrawing into the brush.

The witness was camping overnight with a scout troop at a small crescent-shaped lake. After the group settled around 10-11 p.m., a very loud two-part call was heard three or four times from brush in a draw at the north end of the lake, sounding more distant each time. Shortly before dark the witness had noticed a strong musty odor near camp, and the youths in camp reportedly also heard the calls.

The witness and a companion were camping at an isolated lake over a long weekend. On Saturday morning they began hearing very loud guttural scream-growls that seemed to warn them away from certain areas, including the path to the lake, and the sounds continued into Sunday. Overnight they heard cooking gear clanging and a heavy thump like logs dumped beside their trailer, but in the morning the gear was largely in place and no logs were found, and the companion also reported a strong putrid smell.

The witness then watched a large figure cross a creek about 20 feet away for about 10 minutes until it stepped behind a tree and disappeared after a truck bed light was switched on. The witness was walking home at night near a creek when something began throwing sticks and rocks and following her. The throwing reportedly paused when cars passed. She ran to a bridge where the pursuer entered bushes but continued throwing objects, while she heard footsteps, smelled a strong bad odor, and glimpsed only a large dark figure. Footprints were reportedly found in sand the next day.
Campers Awaken to Unknown Vocalizations, Brush Popping and Foul Odor
About 2 a.m., dozens of campers were awakened by loud prolonged screams from the woods east of the campground. Six campers entered the woods with flashlights toward the sound about 200-300 ft from the perimeter, smelled a foul odor and heard loud brush movement and wood cracking, then retreated. The screams lasted 20-25 minutes total, fading to the east with a similar sound from the south, followed by coyotes howling.
