The next day the witness returned with a companion, encountered the thumping and shaking again, and a large rock flew over their heads, after which they left the area.

Two teenagers exploring an abandoned creamery had the companion climb a ladder to the upper floor, where he reported a foul smell and hairy legs behind a box. Both then heard heavy running overhead with ceiling boards moving, and saw a large hairy figure break through a wall, cross a roof, and appear directly after loading doors blew open. They watched it run away through a cornfield for several seconds until it went over or through a fence and disappeared.

The witness was spending the weekend at a friend's house when the group heard loud high- and low-pitched screaming on a summer Saturday night. Three of them walked toward a field near a river with a flashlight and saw red eyes in the brush while hearing limbs breaking, then ran back to the house. Screaming reportedly continued for hours, and the next midday they found a snapped vine, bark torn high on a tree, disturbed ground, and a partial large heel print.

The witness reports recurring nighttime activity over many years at her parents' wooded property. She and others hear footsteps pacing them along the tree line, loud crashing movement, screeching sounds and cracking noises, often accompanied by a strange smell. The witness was mountain biking on a game trail in thick forest when he stopped in a clear-cut opening to repair a flat front tire. A loud thump came from a burnt-out RV about 50-60 yards away, and he saw a large jet-black furred head appear in a broken window about six feet off the ground. The head tilted slowly to the side as he remounted his bike, and he rode back to his cabin using GPS. He reported smelling a pungent odor at the site and again outside his cabin the next morning, which he interpreted as the animal having followed him.

The witness and two companions hiked a horse trail along a river at night. They heard repeated loud branch breaks that seemed to follow them as they tried to leave. At the base of a bluff area they heard an extremely loud scream that echoed down the river, then ran to a nearby house where they heard the scream again from the woods.

The witness was sitting in a deer stand on hunting land when dogs ran through the woods and rolled in dirt at a fence corner. After getting down to chase the dogs off, the witness smelled a musky sour odor like a dead animal. A deep long growl then came from the woods across the powerline about 50 yards away, prompting the witness to back away and run to the truck.

About 1960, the submitter's husband and two school friends were spending a weekend night inside a relative's cabin when they felt watched and saw a tall hair-covered figure silhouetted by the open refrigerator light. The boys shouted and split up to flee to the car, with the husband reporting something running close behind him that he could hear breathing and smell strongly like moldy skunk. In hindsight he wondered whether the figure was also fleeing and had simply taken the same path.

During midnight rounds at an isolated school compound, the witness crossed a suspension bridge and heard something raiding trash cans by the cookhouse. He threw rocks toward a large dark figure under the eaves, which stood erect, stepped onto the bridge, dodged thrown rocks, vaulted the bridge cables and fled upstream on two legs. He noted glowing eyes and a foul stench, then returned to his trailer without anyone else responding.

During extended thesis fieldwork in remote mountain country, the witness found a set of human-like footprints in fine silt on a meander of Upper Slate Creek, noting dermal ridges, five even-length toes, a square shape and no instep, with a 20-inch stride noted in follow-up. Three pieces of mottled brown feces with a faint odor were found with the prints. No creature was seen and no other person was present for this find.

No tracks were found with a flashlight, and the witness later concluded it was a Bigfoot.
