The witness was fishing alone at a series of strip-mine ponds when he heard snorting, brush movement, and then loud wood-on-wood knocks that continued as he walked out. As he headed uphill to his truck he saw distant movement behind brush in dense cover. He interpreted the sounds and movement as Sasquatch warning him away, shouted that he was leaving, and drove off.

The witness was mushroom hunting alone on a ridgeline when they heard rustling in brush below their position. They froze and scanned but saw nothing, then heard a single sharp knock described as like a bat hitting a tree. The sound was not repeated.

In mid-September 2020 around 5 a.m., the witness was sitting on a tarped patio when rustling was heard behind a shed about 50 feet away. Three chimpanzee-like whoops several seconds apart were then heard, followed by more rustling. The witness went back inside and reports being afraid to go outside in the dark since.
20 miles SE of Dayton: Fishing couple stalked by a sasquatch at Caesar Creek State Park
Two people had been fishing at Caesar Creek Lake and were packing up after sundown when a growling/hissing sound came from the treeline. They shone a flashlight into the woods and saw green eyes, heard trees and brush thrashing as something moved, and smelled a strong scat-like stench. After watching about five minutes they gathered gear and walked back to the parking area feeling watched.

Two companions were night fishing at a reservoir when they heard tree knocks and unfamiliar calls that seemed to get closer. They decided to leave and found one of two large catfish missing from the back of the truck, then the companion was struck in the chest by a small thrown rock. Frightened, they packed up and left quickly.
Possible night time encounter while fishing near Atwater
Two brothers were night-fishing from a secluded point when they broadcast loud predator calls for about 90 minutes and then sat quietly. The witness heard footsteps approaching through the woods and shone a high-powered spotlight toward the sound. A loud, deafening scream/roar erupted, terrifying both men, who then gathered gear and left with one covering their exit. They reported sensing movement about 20 to 30 yards away and hearing branches breaking in another direction but seeing no distinct shape.
Possible sighting by teens in Salt Fork State Park
A group hiking in Salt Fork State Park in the evening reported footprints, grunts and glimpsed movement. The main witness waited ahead with two younger companions and reported seeing a tall hairy biped peeking from behind a tree and then from behind a rock. The three companions ran back to their cabin and later said all three had seen the figure.

Two coworkers arrived at a creek to fish before dawn after a night shift. Shortly after getting out of the car they heard a loud scream and strange yell-like sound from ahead, followed by something moving through brush. After fishing until daylight they walked the creek and found two large barefoot-like prints in a sandbar near disturbed mussels, leading up an embankment into dense thorns.

Four young people went to a collapsed train tunnel late at night and sat on top of the entrance. They reported an overpowering odor, snapping twigs, loud crashing through trees, a low growl, heavy footsteps they could feel, and a loud thud. As they ran back to their car, the reporter glimpsed huge hairy legs and a large hand with long dark nails, then they drove away quickly after the car lurched.
Possible stalking of ROTC Unit at Indian Mound Reserve
The witness was leading a small ROTC patrol on a nighttime escape-and-evasion exercise along creek and cliff trails. The group heard movement and walking above them with small rocks falling, found no one when they climbed to search, then heard heavy running footsteps and branches being swiped aside approaching them that caused the patrol to flee to a field edge. The opposing unit later said it never left base, and a next-day visit found snapped branches above head height but no tracks.

The witness was fishing from a boat near shore while a companion napped on board. The witness heard footsteps in water, loud roars, splashing, and an animal squealing but saw nothing because shoreline vegetation was very dense. Frightened, the witness moved away quietly and woke the companion, who heard part of the sounds as they left. At the marina a worker said a news crew had previously covered a Bigfoot report at the lake, which led the witness to consider that explanation.

The witness and a companion were sleeping in a tent on a hill while camping. In the early morning hours the witness was awakened by a deep growling grunt very close to the tent, followed by brush sounds as something moved away. In the morning the witness searched for tracks, fur, or other sign but found nothing, and concluded the sounds had been made by a bigfoot.
