After the witness shouted, the visitor growled, walked away on two feet, and wood-on-wood knocks were heard as the odor faded. The witness left the area the next morning.

The presence circled the camp and later approached the tent, producing an extremely loud scream followed by growls and chatter, then retreated after the frightened witness yelled back. The witness stayed awake all night, left at first light, and never saw what made the sounds.
