The witness was photographing nature along a loop trail behind a museum when repeated violent shaking of branches followed by loud ground thumps was heard from dense cover without any source being seen. After a third occurrence the witness left quickly and, after covering several hundred yards, heard a very loud thump about 80 feet behind. The witness then ran back to the museum, briefly losing the trail before finding the markers again.

After most went to tents, they heard distant wolves followed by a closer deep howl that silenced the wolves, repeated more faintly. No tracks were found the next day.

A loud, deafening scream/roar erupted, terrifying both men, who then gathered gear and left with one covering their exit. They reported sensing movement about 20 to 30 yards away and hearing branches breaking in another direction but seeing no distinct shape.

Both fled toward a fence as the witness glimpsed a huge bipedal figure through the trees and heard a low gurgling exhale.

The witness was camped in a tent at a primitive site in mixed forest when, in the dark early-morning hours, footsteps were heard crunching through dry leaves off-trail. The unseen walker came from dense woods behind the tent, crossed the trail, and continued east smoothly without a light. The witness stayed still and never saw the source, but later insisted it was certainly bipedal and not a deer.

They later heard a very large animal moving away breaking branches, found no sign after sunrise, and left to hunt elsewhere.
