The witness went to the rear deck with a shotgun and heard prolonged commotion including shaking trees in multiple spots, breaking limbs, running footsteps approaching the deck, and aggressive grunting very close by. They did not see anything, kept lights off out of fear, and then heard what sounded like several large creatures retreating to the tree line. The next day they found pushed-over bushes and freshly broken branches.

Further down the trail the witness tried reproducing the sound with tree knocks, rocks, and hand claps, finding cupped hand claps matched most closely.

After knocking three times on a deck rail, the witness heard three knocks returned from nearby woods and later saw branches moving despite no wind. During the night and again after dawn they repeatedly heard a loud aggressive exhale-like sound nearby, along with footsteps and branches breaking as something moved through the forest, followed by scream-like sounds that turned into chatter. In daylight they found a matted vegetation bed, a fresh flattened trail, and footprints in mud where the sounds had come from. The entity itself was never seen.

A few minutes later a loud snap like a small tree or large branch breaking occurred about 20 feet behind them. Frightened, they abandoned their mushrooms and left the area without seeing the source.

The witness was bowhunting on the morning of October 9, 2014 in rainy and foggy conditions with very limited visibility. He heard and felt three loud impacts just out of sight, described as either rocks striking the ground or something stomping hard enough to feel in his feet. He called out, got no reply and heard nothing moving away, interpreted it as a warning and left.

After going to bed, the witness felt something heavy step on the tent edge and push on her head through the fabric, then heard soft bipedal steps around camp until dawn when another knock was heard.

The witness and two companions were walking upstream frog gigging at night when they noticed a musky odor and heard heavy movement ahead in dense brush. Three rocks were thrown from above across the creek, followed by crashing movement across the water and another rock landing nearby in the creek. An unseen very large mover then rushed toward them through thick brush, prompting the group to leave for their vehicle.
