The witness was making coffee at about 3 a.m. when she saw widely spaced large yellow eyes looking through a window, with a dark width blocking the outside light and shifting side to side. She backed away and waited in the dark until daylight while a rank skunk-like odor entered the house. After daylight, she and a relative found a strong odor in the yard, vegetation matted and crushed under the window, and squirrel corn missing.

The witnesses were camped overnight in a tent when they heard loud screams and later activity just outside the tent described as pulling grass. One witness shined a flashlight toward the tree line and reported large yellow eyes close together that then turned toward the woods. They reported hearing movement retreating into the woods, then packed their vehicle and drove home in the early morning hours.

Late at night three companions pulled over by an overgrown archery field to look for deer and noticed green eyeshine wide apart just above tall grass. The source of the eyes stood upright to a great height, looked toward them, then walked into the adjoining woods. After leaving, they returned for a size comparison with a 6-foot companion walking toward the treeline while the others watched from the truck; the figure reappeared, stood up and towered over the companion before leaving into the woods again.

Two people had been fishing at Caesar Creek Lake and were packing up after sundown when a growling/hissing sound came from the treeline. They shone a flashlight into the woods and saw green eyes, heard trees and brush thrashing as something moved, and smelled a strong scat-like stench. After watching about five minutes they gathered gear and walked back to the parking area feeling watched.

After storms, the witness drove alone at night to a park to watch for activity. Looking down a private lane near a parking lot, she saw a set of large blue-white eyes high off the ground with smaller similar lights below. The eyes stayed still then swayed while the smaller lights moved and appeared and disappeared, prompting her to leave. She returned shortly with relatives but found no trace.

The witness was catfishing alone at night by a spillway when he illuminated a pair of eyes watching him from across the water. He kept his light on the eyes, tried a deer snort and threw rocks, after which the eyes backed away silently and the animal walked toward brush. He left shaken, estimating the animal at about 5.5 to 6 feet tall despite never seeing its body.
